My first real solo project, this Sonic the Hedgehog fan-game used a pre-made engine (Sonic GDK) in Unreal Engine 3. Modeled after the modern boost style of Sonic game play (Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Generations), it features multiple pathways and both 3D and 2D perspective game play. It was released as part of the Sonic Amateur Games Expo of 2014 and received high praise for it's level design and inventive environment aesthetic. It was intended to be part of a larger project but I soon moved on to other projects after completion of this single level.
